Introduction

Established in Taiwan in 2008, the Interdisciplinary Program of Life Science is a novel undergraduate training program that aims to accommodate and integrate diverse knowledge from a variety of fields with those of Life Science. Students enrolled in this program will select either the Department of Life Science or the Department of Medical Science as their primary major, taking the core courses of this department and combining them with courses of interest from their secondary major in other departments/colleges. With such a flexible curriculum, it is expected that students will become well trained, with interdisciplinary talents, while maintaining a solid foundation of life science knowledge.
